Jeri Martinez is an Army veteran and has been inspiring Performance United athletes since 2013. Over the last four years Jeri has coached and mentored America’s best track cycling athletes, including the 2016 Olympic team. High-performance is nothing new for Coach Jeri as he earned the honors of becoming both a Master Fitness Instructor (MFT) as well as a Master Trainer in Hand to Hand Combatives for the United States Army.
As a soldier, Coach Jeri enhanced unit combat readiness by building soldier’s courage, confidence and resiliency, and their situational responsiveness to close quarters threats in the operational environment. As a Performance United coach, Jeri brings his military background to teach our clients that mental strength and fortitude are as equally as important as physical strength in being successful in all aspects of life.
